Ditch The Guitar VSTs And Session Guitar Robots For An Experienced Guitar Player Of 22 Years Who Guarantees They’ll Transform Your Song Or Project With Professional, Tasty Guitar Parts

I bet you’ve already been to fiverr or soundbetter haven’t you?

And yet you’re here….

Wanna know why?

Because you want to make sure you’ve looked at all the options available.

Because you want a pro and not an amateur.

And because you want someone who is reliable and not problematic.

Well I think you’ve found a great online session guitarist who’s available remotely….

And can give your tracks the added push that a guitar VST or logic session guitar program just can’t replicate……

About Me, Matt

Thanks so much for visiting my site and considering me for your project.

I’ve been playing guitar ever since I listened to Metallica’s S&M album and got my little brother’s epiphone les paul.

Since then, I’ve made it my mission to figure out how the guitar and music works, while becoming the best guitar player I possibly can be.

I’m mostly self-taught through my 300 book library of music theory textbooks, tablature books, and classical scores.

I did take piano lessons for a year as well as take an intro to music theory course at my alma mater, Ole Miss. Partly because of that class I have higher than average skills in reading and interpreting music.

My guitar skills really took off though once I started applying many of the concepts I had learned from these books into making my own arrangements of famous pop songs, classical pieces, and even hip-hop.

I’m very well versed in guitar-prominent music styles like blues, rock, country, jazz, metal, funk, etc…..

But I believe what sets me apart is that I’m a truly modern guitar player, and I’ll tell you what I think that encompasses in the next section….

Side note: many ask me who my favorite players are so here you go…..

Slash, Marty Friedman, James Hetfield, Chet Atkins, Wes Montgomery, David Gilmour, John Petrucci, Brent Mason, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, and many many others.

The Problem With Many Online Session Guitarists (and Offline)

Lots of guitarists are stuck in the older styles of playing, and will not entertain the thought of learning other styles of music that don’t involve the guitar.

Classical, Hip-Hop Beats, and lots of Pop music does not have any guitar, or hardly any at all.

That didn’t stop me from making guitar riffs from Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Michael Jackson (no not Beat It), and many other artists that don’t use the instrument.

Why am I telling you this?

Because, if you watched my video reel up above, you’ll see that I have the ability to take nearly any kind of music and create an interesting guitar part for it.

Lots of shredders just don’t have the versatility to help with a project involving Trap, Funk, Reggaeton, Pop, etc.

Lastly……

Many players are not songwriters or producers. Which means they’ll struggle to create a part that matches your vision or needs for the song.

With this combination of traits that I can offer, I think the choice is a no-brainer.

Why Hire A Session Guitarist?

A session guitar player can oftentimes see potential parts that an amateur can’t see or imagine.

Session players often have familiarity not only with many styles of music, but other instruments like piano, horns, drums, bass, etc so that they can create a part that won’t step on the other track’s toes.

And with the modern day’s desire to have everything done yesterday, a session player can do all of this on a tight deadline.

In the post-pandemic era, nearly the entire industry has accepted the reality that this work can be done in a simple home studio without a big budget or recording studio.

Session Guitarist Rates: What I Offer

I can offer wet and dry tracks in standard industry audio formats like AIFF and WAV.
Using the plugins, guitars, and gear down below….

I’m confident that I can quickly and easily deliver stems that are edited and mix-ready in no time.

My current rate is $100 a song and up to 2 revisions, with extra revisions costing $25 a piece.

A same-day or “rush” fee will be double the per song rate ($200 total).

I’m happy to work on songs, beats, sync licenses, movie scores, or whatever you need.
